“Rise and Shine, Benedict Stone” was filmed in Canada, totally on Vancouver Island, based on a video shared by Ballentine. She stated she was “endlessly grateful” for her alternative to be there.

Tonquin Beach (a part of Vancouver Island) in British Columbia is one other filming location.

Week 2 of the film completed filming on June 19, Ballentine shared on Instagram.

The film relies on a ebook by Phaedra Patrick. The ebook is her second novel. She wrote on Instagram: “I’m delighted [email protected] are making my 2nd novel Rise and Shine, Benedict Stone (often called Wishes Under the Willow Tree within the UK) into a movie! What a unbelievable cast, and the script is beautiful too. It’s going to be beautiful 💕”

Patrick owns a writing shed that appears positively cozy.
