Today’s announcement by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis of the suspension of all native emergency orders had many questioning if the Orlando-area parks would change their insurance policies. DeSantis’s actions invalidated the Orange County masks mandate.

Now, Disney has launched a push notification on the MyDisneyExpertise cellular app that they won’t be altering any COVID-19 security measures right now. Masks will nonetheless be required at Walt Disney World Resort. They are additionally encouraging visitors to get vaccinated.

With the loosening of restrictions state-wide, it is sensible that Disney may have to remind visitors, particularly these from Florida, that guidelines can be completely different on their property from the remainder of the state. That being mentioned, the notification within the app shouldn’t be taken as an official assertion that the corporate isn’t discussing if and/or when they are going to ease masks necessities. Our guess is that will probably be fairly a while till they do although.
At this time, Universal Orlando Resort has not addressed Governor DeSantis’s modifications in any method.
