Last 12 months, The Stranglers misplaced their longtime keyboardist and singer Dave Greenfield after a battle with COVID-19. The Stranglers bassist JJ Burnel stated: “A 12 months in the past, on May third my nice pal and colleague of 45 years, Dave Greenfield, handed away, one other sufferer of the pandemic.
“We had already recorded a lot of the album with him and in the course of the lockdowns our solely want was to full it as a becoming tribute to his life and work.

Dave himself options on eight of the 11 tracks, which have been recorded over two years at The Stranglers’ studios in rural Somerset and Southern France.
The keyboardist first joined the punk band in 1975, a 12 months after its formation and famously performed the harpsichord on Golden Brown and the organ on No More Heroes.
