Henrietta Lange is alive and kicking and — maybe better of all — again on the Office of Special Projects, as seen in these unique photographs from NCIS: Los Angeles‘ Season 12 finale.
All season lengthy, the staff’s Operations Manager (performed by unique cast member Linda Hunt) has been mysteriously out of pocket, on a covert mission that took her “nowhere I need to be” (she as soon as revealed through a staticky video name). Part of that was as a result of calls for of manufacturing TV throughout a pandemic. “We’re doing all the things we will to maintain everybody protected, and Linda is just a little further particular in phrases of how we’ve to look out for her,” showrunner Scott Gemmill informed TVLine final fall, noting how the 76-year-old Academy Award winner’s appearances on video have been filmed in the driveway at her residence.
Recently, Retired Navy Admiral Hollace Kilbride (performed by Gerald McRaney) recommended to interim Operations Manager Nell (Renée Felice Smith) that “Hetty’s not coming again.” He went on to notice, “She has had her foot out that very same door far longer than you might have. And I feel it is time we settle for this mission she’s on could very properly be her final.”
But on the very least, Hetty will return to HQ, in one piece and smiling, in the Season 12 finale (airing Sunday, May 23 on CBS). In that episode, titled “A Tale of Two Igors,” Deeks is kidnapped by an affiliate of Kirkin’s; the staff investigates the capturing of a militarized dolphin geared up with a Russian microchip; and Eric makes Nell an attention-grabbing provide.
“It was simply so nice having Linda again on set, particularly for her scenes with Renée [Felice Smith],” Gemmill tells TVLine. “Hetty is such an vital and virtually legendary character to NCIS: Los Angeles, and followers are going to like seeing them collectively once more.”
