Masked robbers target Sunderland home in terrifying Valentine’s Day knife raid

Masked raiders robbed a person in his Sunderland home in a terrifying Valentine’s Day raid.

One robber, wielding a knife, burst into the Grangetown property and demanded money as the opposite two waited outdoors.

They then fled in a pink automotive with a haul that included £600 money and the sufferer’s cell phone.

Detectives have now launched a witness attraction following the theft, which left the sufferer “shaken” however unhurt.

The incident unfolded at round 5.50pm on February 14 at a property in Stratford Avenue.

The culprits, who had been all carrying masks, drove away in the route of Matanzas Street.

Northumbria Police say the car was described as both the form of a Ford Focus, Vauxhall Corsa or VW Golf.
