Famed actor and comic John Belushi died in 1982 from a drug overdose of a mix of cocaine and morphine, according to a 1985 Los Angeles Times article.

According to Biography.com, a pathologist later stated that Belushi had “sufficient medication in his physique to kill even a wholesome man, which Belushi was not.”
