After a four-season run on HBO, which was preceded by six “seasons” as an online sequence(*5*), the anthology comedy has reached its conclusion.
“Co-creators Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair have determined to take a break from producing High Maintenance to pursue different tasks,” an HBO rep says in a press release to TVLine. “We look ahead to listening to what they provide you with subsequent.”
The information comes on the heels of HBO saying that Insecure‘s upcoming fifth season can be the acclaimed comedy’s final.
Co-created by Blichfeld and Sinclair, the sequence used The Guy (performed by Sinclair), a marijuana seller, to inform a wide range of distinctly genuine, empathetic and insightful tales — together with his personal — in regards to the New York Community.
High Maintenance first existed as an online sequence on Vimeo, launching in November 2012 and delivering a complete of 19 episodes. It then made the leap to HBO in September 2016, the place it ran for a complete of 34 episodes.
What can be its sequence finale aired again on April 3, 2020.
