Five people taken to hospital after collision in Northumberland

Five people have been taken to hospital following a crash in Northumberland.

The collision occurred on the A697, in Longhorsley, at round 10.20pm on Sunday.

Five people had been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.

Police have now launched an investigation and are interesting for witnesses to come ahead.

A Northumbria Police spokeswoman mentioned: “Officers are interesting for witnesses to a one car collision on the A697, in Longhorsley, Northumberland.

“Shortly earlier than 10.20pm on May 2, we obtained a report {that a} silver Vauxhall Corsa had, for causes but to be established, got here off the street and rolled.

“The 5 people contained in the automobile had been all taken to hospital with non-life threatening accidents.

“An investigation into the circumstances behind the collision is underway and officers are eager to hear from anybody who may need seen the incident, or who may need dashcam footage.”
