Landing a giant position is not as simple because it appears to be like.
Just ask “One Tree Hill” alumni Stephen Colletti and James Lafferty, and Lafferty’s fiancée, Alexandra Park.
“Where do I start? There’s just a few [bad auditions] over time,” Colletti, 34, informed Page Six of the grueling audition course of through Zoom on Monday.
The former “Laguna Beach” star, who’s starring in new Hulu show “Everyone Is Doing Great” with Lafferty and Park, stated a casting director as soon as pulled a rug into the middle of the room so Colletti might carry out an undisclosed motion on it.
“I would’ve earned my stripes there in LA,” he quipped. “And it was similar to, ‘Hmm, this can be a first,’ and did not see this coming once I moved to LA.
“There’s an infinite treasure trove of horror stories. That’s auditioning.”
Lafferty, 35, recalled being chastised by a director after he didn’t learn a whole script previous to the audition.
“So that led to a extremely good audition,” he joked.
Park, who starred on “The Royals” and is engaged to Lafferty, stated a casting director as soon as requested her to mimic being bitten by a poisoned squirrel.
