Eleven people arrested during probe into drug supply in Newcastle after three men died

Eleven people have been arrested following an investigation into current drug supply in Newcastle.

A probe was launched following the deaths of three men in Newcastle over the financial institution vacation weekend.

The deaths are thought to narrate to the drug Spice.

On Sunday evening a spokesman for Northumbria Police stated eleven people have been arrested and medicines have been seized.

One of the people arrested is a 14-year-old boy.

Ten of these in custody have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences and one man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

The arrests had been all made in the Newcastle space. Nine pf the people are males aged 14, 23, 26, 27, 27, 35, 36, 43 and 44 and two ladies aged 25 and 33 have additionally been arrested.
