The variety of OG CSI cast members returning for CBS’ forthcoming revival has ticked as much as 4.
Paul Guilfoyle, who performed murder detective captain Jim Brass on the unique collection, will reprise his function in sequel collection CSI: Vegas, TVLine has confirmed. He joins fellow franchise vets William Petersen(Gil) Jorja Fox(Sara) and Wallace Langham (Hodges). Whereas Petersen, Fox and Langham might be collection regulars within the new iteration, Guilfoyle is ready to visitor star in simply two episodes, Deadline stories.
Guilfoyle appeared within the first 14 seasons of CSI, exiting forward of the fifteenth and last season.
The new crop of CSIs, in the meantime, might be performed by Matt Lauria(Friday Night Lights, Kingdom), Paula Newsome (Chicago Med, Barry), Mel Rodriguez(Last Man on Earth) and Mandeep Dhillon (After Life). Additionally, Jamie McShane (SEAL Team) will recur.

The new CSI— which is being considered as a possible ongoing collection vs. a restricted one — was initially slated to premiere final fall, coinciding with the twentieth anniversary of the unique CSI‘s 2000 launch. The coronavirus pandemic, nonetheless, delayed these plans.
