80-year-old man hit by car in Forest Hall dies in hospital

A pensioner has died in hospital after a collision in Forest Hall Road.

Police obtained a report of a collision involving a car and an 80-year-old man round 3.15pm on Sunday, February 28.

The man had been crossing the street when he was struck by a pink Honda Civic on Forest Hall Road, simply south of Great Lime Road.

Police and emergency companies arrived on the scene and the man was taken to hospital, nonetheless, he has since died on account of his accidents.

He has now been named by police as Bill Small from the Forest Hall space. His household are at the moment being supported by specialist officers.

The driver of the Honda, a 43-year-old male, was arrested on the scene however has since been launched below investigation.
